Our Profile
Mission and Vision
We started Green Shoots with a simple belief: business should do good.
Our founder left a corporate job in sustainability because she wanted to build something more personal and more real. Today, Green Shoots is a small but growing social enterprise that creates meaningful gifts—designed with care, made by people who need the work, and gentle on the planet.
We work with mothers, elderly women, and people often left out of the job market. We also support children with autism by helping schools create calm, nature-based spaces where they can feel safe and learn better.
We believe packaging shouldn’t harm the Earth. So we use recyclable canisters, wood off-cuts, and simple designs that don’t leave waste behind. Every gift you buy supports a better future—for the maker, the receiver, and the environment.
This isn’t just a business to us. It’s our way of bringing hope, dignity, and care into everyday things.

🔹 Children with Special Needs Struggle Without Support
Malaysia has over87,500 studentswith special education needs enrolled in public schools (MOE, 2022). Many schools lack the basic sensory infrastructure or therapeutic spaces to support their mental and emotional wellbeing.

🔹 Packaging Waste is Rising
Malaysia generated over1 million tonnesof plastic packaging waste in 2021 (World Bank, 2022), much of it from festive, food, and corporate gifting. Most ends up in landfills or waterways, with limited access to circular packaging alternatives.
